3. How to discreetly contact the lecturer during class
During live classes, it is important to communicate with the lecturer in a way that does not disturb other participants. Here are some tips on how to ask a question or ask for help without interrupting the flow of class:
- Raising your hand: If you want to ask a question or ask for help, you can use the option "Raise Hand" in the Zoom application. This is a discreet way to show the lecturer that you want to join in without disturbing the rest of the group.
- On your computer: Click the button "Reactions" in the menu below and select "Raise Hand".
- On your phone or tablet: Click on "Sea" (three dots) and select an option "Raise Hand".
- Chat function: If you don't want to interrupt the conversation, you can ask a question or comment via company. Write to the lecturer or to the whole group, depending on what you want to share. Lecturers usually monitor the chat and answer questions when possible.
- Private messages: If you have a question that is specific to you, you can send private message to the lecturer via Zoom chat, without disturbing other students. To do this, select the lecturer's name in the "To" option when sending a message.
- If you have technical problems: If you encounter technical problems, such as sound or camera problems, we recommend that you first try to solve the problem using basic options such as turning the microphone or camera off and on again. If that doesn't help, contact the instructor via private message or chat to let them know about the problem.
Tips:
- We recommend that you install the Zoom app before classes start to avoid delays.
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection so that your lessons are as effective as possible.
- If you have access problems, please contact us via Discord, Viber / Wapp call or email and we will be here to help you.
